With a focus on jazz dance, we will explore how our movement can express the meaning behind words in music and poetry. Be prepared to work on isolations and jazz combinations, speaking (& singing if you feel comfortable) while moving, and learning, creating, and implementing movements that tell stories.
Level: Advanced (ages 13+)
Attire / Appearance: Girls: Leotard or dance tank and black dance leggings or shorts. Hair pulled back off the face in a ponytail, pigtails or bun. Boys: T-shirt and black dance pants.
