This class is for students who are ready to dive into the hard work of ballet. Beginning from the foundation conditioning exercises for strengthening, flexibility and body awareness as well as alignment are the focus of this class. The fundamentals of ballet technique are introduced with a focus on awareness of how to work the whole body. Dancers build technique and vocabulary while gaining confidence and sense of accomplishment.
Level: Beginner (ages 8 - 10)
Attire / Appearance: Girls - Lavender leotard, pink tights and pink ballet slippers. Hair should be pulled back off face in a bun. Boys – white t-shirt and leggings and black ballet shoes.
